The Cooking Principle – From Top Left to Bottom Right

 

Cooking is the handling and processing of specific products in specific quantities in a specific order in a cooking appliance.  The cooking diagrams presented in this book are based on this simple realisation, which is anything but new.  The "philosophy" of the presentation consists in only showing graphically, as much information as necessary. The graphics themselves actually explain everything.  Just read the recipes from top left to bottom right, like a book.

The ingredients are divided into product groups that are assigned different colours. The colour choice was arbitrary, so they probably do not correspond to the associations which you might connect with the respective products.  Please do not expect them to be scientifically assigned either.
